We are looking for a motivated Junior ICT Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about cloud computing, infrastructure, and modern IT systems.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Familiarity with virtualization concepts (VMs, containers)
- Basic understanding of Linux and Windows server environments
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is an advantage
- Understanding of databases and cloud storage services
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure and services
- Monitor cloud systems for performance, availability, and security
- Support configuration of virtual machines, storage, and networks in the cloud
- Assist in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Help implement cloud security best practices and policies
- Troubleshoot cloud-related issues under senior guidance
- Support migration of on-premise systems to cloud platforms
- Maintain documentation of cloud architecture and configurations
- Collaborate with developers and IT teams for cloud-based solutions
- Stay updated with latest cloud technologies and best practices
