We are looking for a motivated Junior Network and Software Engineer to join our IT team. This role is suitable for candidates who want to build experience in both networking and software development environments.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of computer networks (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Familiarity with networking tools and concepts (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of databases and basic SQL is an advantage
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Support software development, testing, and debugging tasks
- Maintain system security, backups, and updates
- Provide technical support to internal users and teams
- Assist in configuring routers, switches, and network devices
- Help in developing and maintaining software applications
- Document network configurations and system processes
- Collaborate with senior engineers on IT infrastructure projects
- Ensure smooth operation of both network and software systems
